  • Artists will be working to a deadline and may not be able to talk directly with you. We urge you to join us on one of our scheduled tours instead where they will be able to do Q&A

  • Please take care on the lane. During the week, it is a busy, one way service lane. On the weekends it can be a little but quieter but take caution at all times.

STARTS: Meet at the Visitor’s Information Centre

ENDS: Banna Suites

BOOKING: No need to book, just be waiting at the start point outlined above.

WEATHER: If it is raining on the day the tour will be cancelled.

Spray Painting Workshop with @Reubszz - ALL AGES

Learn spray techniques from professional artist Reubszz. Great for youths but all ages welcome.

This workshop will only have ten spots available so be quick. In two hours you will learn some core techniques to take your painting techniques to the next level. Great for beginners or those wanting to hone their skills.

This workshop is a youth program sponsored by Griffith Regional Art Gallery and supported by Banna Lane Festival.

Reubszz is a Sydney based artist, originally from New Zealand where he completed his BMA, majoring in Painting and Illustration. His work consists of large scale artworks and studio pieces. Reubszz approaches his work from a realistic standpoint and references his own photographs in his paintings.

Youth Art Project - Workshop

The Griffith Regional Art Gallery with the support of the Regional Arts Fund, present Cooper Crothers youth workshop. Cooper will run an intensive aerosol art skills workshop on Good Friday for committed artists aged 14-25 years - teaching safe and creative aerosol art techniques, and creating vibrant and original designs to be incorporated into the painted works. He will return to lead his young crew in painting the transformers during the Banna Lane Festival.

Artists wanting to be part of this project must commit to attending the Workshop and be available for painting onsite during the festival (8th-12th May 2019)

To apply to be a part of this project, download and fill in the APPLICATION FORM and return to the Gallery by 10 April 2019.
